Hermann von Eleuburg was Duke of Faendal in the 880s AIC.

Early Life

As a young man, Hermann von Eleuburg was a member of the Order of Saint Castor of Karden, reaching the rank of Knight-Lieutenant.

Duke of Faendal

As the Duke of Faendal, then a constituent part of the Holy Archadian Empire, Hermann von Eleuburg sat on the Consilium Basileii. Upon hearing the news of the assassination of Emperor Baldassare Velisario, Von Eleuburg, a staunch Omnican, voted against the Edict of Vissegrad. Serving the new emperor and regency in Isthar, von Eleuburg's proposal to lead an expedition of the Order of Saint Castor into Haram to find Nicodemus Belisarius was accepted.

In Haram, the expedition was under constant harassment by the Sayyid and his band of Haramites. Eventually, the entire expedition bar one soldier was destroyed, and Hermann von Eleuburg was executed.
