The Book of World Records was a book written in the 800s AIC detailing the tallest buildings in the world at the time.

Inception

The legend of the inception of the book is recorded as follows:

A Baalysian, a Leopolitan and a Knight of St Kastor walks in to a bar, after a few beers they come into an argument. The three "gentlemen" quite vocally argue about who's "tower" is highest.

The Baalysian confidently says that the lighthouse in Baalys must be highest as it is built by a god.

The Knight claims that Ordensburg's cathedral must be the highest, as it is a house of the one true god.

The Leopolitan is positive the Campanile in Leopoli is highest, as it was paid for in pure gold, the highest power in the world.

Unfortunately they all beat each other to death before knowing for sure who was right, but the barkeep got the idea to write a record book to settle future arguments.
