The Blue Griffons is a holy order of warriors devoted to the protection of the Balthasarian faith. They are a common sight in most areas of Schonen. During the Silvetian Revolution they acted to protect the remains of Balthasar I. Most famous of the Blue Griffons is Valdemar Greif, saviour of Balthasar. Their power extends beyond Schonen with the foundation of Kastell Balthasar in Bad Erzquell.
