Antonius Pius

Antonius Pius was a Heliarch. He reigned in exile in Verduro since the Tor Ardwen regime had overrun Archadia and ousted many of the cities ruling classes. In 838 AIC, he, together with the king of Nicoloviana, István Nagy, organised a coalition of Nicoloviana, the Order of St. Kastor, and Verduro to take back the city and reestablish Omnican rule. In 840 AIC, the coalition finally succeeded. Antonius Pius proclaimed Istvan Nagy to be the protector of the faith and the first Emperor of the Holy Archadian Empire. Antonius Pius spent much of his remaining years trying to weed out the Sotiran heresy that had taken root across Hasperia.
