Ever since the ancestors of todays Azurien founded a nation there were certain groups and families that managed to be of importance thoughout the generations. Some are still influantial today, while others vanished and new ones emerged. These are important families and houses of todays Azurien.
House Ved-Malladi
Mainly a merchant family. They are suspected of smuggling activities to elude the tolls in Redharbor.
Nightfall Family
A family of moneylenders and city planners. It is commonly known that they have been important in Azuriens development for more than a hundred years. They claim that one of their ancestors was present at the first vision of Azura. Elliara Nightfall is the current Secretary of Commerce.
