Rukharov, also called Racari, is a village in Vlachia. It was once a vassal of the ruined and lost castle of Mesteacan. The village played a key part in the Vlachian Civil War for it was where Alexandru Basarab and Petru Vestul formed their army after declaring war against the House of Draculesti.
