The Duchy of Portsmith, known in Classical Archadian as Portus Ferrarius, was a city state and briefly province in the Archadian Empire. The town was founded in 160 AIC. In around 213, under the rule of Duke Takwin The Second, the city joined the Archadian Empire as a full province, almost simultaneously alongside Lorem Ipsum. Takwin was granted the honours of Praefectus of the Province of Ferraria, as well as the title of Praefectus Aenarii Tributique. As part of the Great Inner Sea War, the province rose in rebellion and gained independence from the empire.
