The Bell of Renewal is a large golden bell in a belltower outside of the Abbey to the Sisters of Mercy northwest of Tel Aldnium. The belltower is right next to the Shrine of the Eternal Flame.
The bell is rung only when a High Priest dies and his remains are burned in the Eternal Flame and Azura therefore chooses a new High Priest. In that case the bell is rung 46 consecutive times for the end of the deceased High Priest and the beginning of the new one.
It is said that with the right wind, the bell is even heard in the city of Whitegold.
