Free Imperial City was a title in the Holy Archadian Empire granted to the cities of Archadia, Nicolovia, Garantinople, and Freiburg during the reign of Garantius XLII. The status granted the city self rule, no longer belonging to any noble, and gave them two seats on the Consilium Basileii, as opposed to the one seat duchies were granted.
