Kantakuzov, also called Cantacuzino, is the capital and largest city of the Principality of Vlachia.
History
Cantacuzino was founded as a far off outpost of the Archadian Empire built around the location of a fort to maintain imperial presence in the swamps. After the retreat of the empire and the settling of the area by the Vlachian people, the first Domnitor of Vlachia decided discovered the ruins of this fort and built his capital upon them.
During the Vlachian Civil War, the city was burnt by Grigory Ardenislav, an unlanded noble skilled in pryomancy, a form of Manteism. A large proportion of the House of Draculesti died here. The city became a new seat of the House of Basarab.
