Balthasarian is a faith found in Greifenhausen. It was founded by people fleeing oppression in the lands of Faendal. In these land the strong Omnican church and its allies among the aristocracy hunted down any "heresy". One man, who had heard the call of god, gathered other believers to sail eastward. The man was named Balthasar and sought the homeland of God. He aimed to sail to the eastern reaches of the world and into Gods kingdom. The believers set sail on three ships ( Greif, Geld and Henrietta). These ships met a grand storm east of what is now the holy land of Schonen. Here they founded the holy city of, Greifenhausen.
Beliefs
The Balthasarian church bases it beliefs on five core principles.
- There is only one God.
- Be humble.
- Help your neighbour
- Share your wealth
- God
