The '''Rikehovn Incident''' was a border conflict in 213 [[AIC]] between the [[Archadian Empire]] and [[Thure]]. The incident followed the [[Thurian War of Independence]] which redrew the border between Thure and the empire. Maps produced by the Archadian Empire showed the village of [[Rikehovn]] as part of the province of [[Praxidea]], whereas maps produced by Thure showed that the village was theirs. The diplomatic incident occured when builders from Thure, who were building a road to the village, were ejected from the village by an Archadian official. The builders complained to the Thing, who sent an envoy to the Archadian Emperor [[Optimus Garantius XVII]] who intervened and ceded the village to Thure.

The incident was seen as an example of imperial weakness in the period, worrying [[Kryeran]] observers especially. Embolded by their victory, Thure would later declare war on the empire in the [[Imperial Spring]].
