'''Balmora''' is a fictional feudal kingdom comprising many different mostly autonomous realms. Balmora first appeared in literature in the time 200s AIC, preceding the [[Imperial Spring]]. It is thought by historians that writers yearned for a less barbaric time, and so created this fictional kingdom to house honourable knights and houses. It is usually associated with somewhere in [[Hasperia]], though it has no precise location.

== Politics ==
The tale of Balmora begins with the King being dead, died without issue and no obvious heir. Thus, with the Crown being vacant, An extraordinary Moragemot has been called, with every noble lord from the greatest magnate to the least baron expected to attend, to settle the issue. If no King is found, it is feared that the realm shall erupt in bloodshed.
