Its vassals include the Ispanship of [[Mikau]], the Ispanship of [[Gucharov (castle)|Gucharov]], the Ispanship of [[Mesteacan]], the Boyarship of [[Gucharov (village)|Gucharov]] and the Boyarship of [[Racari]]. The region is the ancestral home of the [[House of Basarab]], the reigning dynasty in Vlachia ever since [[Alexandru Basarab]] overthrew [[Dragos III]] in the [[Vlachian Civil War]].
