'''Azura''' is a goddess of the [[Azuran]] faith and the patron goddess to [[Azurien]]. According to her followers she is one of many gods, but the only ''"right"'' one, as she alone will outlast the end of time. Azura is the opposite of [[Sol Invictus]] as he is the one ruling over the day. Azura claims her reign at dusk, rules over the night and will triumph over Sol Invictus, and all other gods, when the eternal dawn will come. <br />
Her sacret place is the [[Statue of Azura]] west of [[Tel Aldnium]].

==Origins and Characterization==
According to the history of the azurian people, their ancestors once found a giant statue, that seemed to be created by a volcano. The people prayed to the statue and Azura appeared and showed them a bright and yet blurred future. The statue was presumably destoyed when the volcano erupted again in 820 AIC, but the faith came with the people to [[Hasperia]].<br />
Azura is characterized as a young woman with skin as gray as the ashes of a volcano and darkred colored hair as well as red eyes. Her symbols are a shining star and a crescent moon and she is often represented holding them in her hands.

==Epithet and Attributes==
Azura was given a a few bynames by her followers. She is also called
* the lady of dusk and dawn
* the mother of roses
* the queen of the night sky

Azura is generally percieved as a gentle goddess. From her followers she demands nothing more then love and devotedness. But when angered or betrayed she will be exceedingly furious with excessive punishments.
