The Great Migration, also called the Barbarian Invasions, was a period of widespread migrations within or into Hasperia between the 3rd and 7th centuries AIC. Many of the migrations were movements of Germanic peoples into areas of former Archadian influence, such as into the ruins of Lorem Ipsum. Historians have speculated that this period could have been caused by the decline of the First Archadian Empire after its defeat in the Great Inner Sea War.
